Good Morning,

How are you this beautiful April morning?

I'm recovering from a weekend at the Grand National in Liverpool. It was a fantastic atmosphere and we backed the winner which was a bonus. There were some stunning outfits and some real raspberries. There were also a lot of people behaving badly under the influence... it was very entertaining.

I've had a good night's sleep after all the excitement and I'm rearing to go.

This week's blog is called all change. First, I'm going to do some shameless self-promoting.

Kids' Easter Workshop:- Wednesday 13th April 

10 am - 12 noon  £15.00

The morning is spent making 'Stainglass' Easter egg decorations from black paper, tissue paper, colouring pens & glitter. It's two hours and there are still spaces available.

All Change

There are many changes ahead here at the studio/ gallery... 

• I will be closed from Tuesday 10th May till Friday 8th July. Unfortunately, I'm not on holiday abroad for 2 months.
• The garden is having a complete re-vamp. We are paving the whole 147 square metre space which is a huge job. We have builders coming in to do this. As it will be a building site there is no access to the garden so I have to close. 
• There will be more seating outside so my clients can sit outside and have lunch on warm days. It will, hopefully, resemble a courtyard garden with plenty of borders/ plants/ climbing roses/ clematis/ honeysuckle, etc. The garden is a sun trap but there'll be shaded seated areas.
• On Saturday 9th & Sunday10th, July there will be the grand opening of the newly landscaped garden and studio/ gallery with an exhibition. I'm hoping to have an exhibition showcasing the talent of local artists & visiting artists from Liverpool.
• I am also planning to change the name of the gallery/ studio and will keep you updated with this.

April is busy with workshops and private parties. If you fancy attending a workshop before I close there are 2 spaces available on Saturday 23rd April, 1 - 4 pm, Watercolour Hare, Prosecco & Chocolate. It is the only workshop left with availability.

I will keep you updated with photos of the garden ( building site) as it develops. I'm already having anxiety attacks over the disruption and mess entailed... it will be worth it.
