Cultural and Educational Art Workshops for Schools

The best way to teach children is to grip their attention and continually introduce them to new experiences. Replacing some of your standard art lessons with my school art classes and workshops is a great way to inspire them. I’m Amina, an artist who spent more than 24 years teaching art and design technology and led two art departments as the Head of Art. I use my wealth of knowledge and experience to provide lessons that the children will simply love.

Each workshop can be designed and arranged to meet your school’s needs, to coincide with your curriculum, for example. Using my extensive knowledge of the art industry, I can tailor the class to focus on cultural art, such as aboriginal pieces and artwork from Africa, Egypt, Mexico, China, and India. Alternatively, I can focus the workshop on a contemporary artist, such as:

Damien Hirst – David Hockney – Grayson Perry – Andy Warhol – Georgia O’Keefe – Vincent Van Gogh – Claude Monet – Gustav Klimt – Pablo Picasso to name a few.

I run workshops creating pieces of recycled Art using plastic bottles, bags etc.

The class can also be tailored to work with any of the following mediums:

Pencils – Pastels – Oil Pastels – Mixed Media – Collages – Printmaking – Batik – Silk Painting – Painting in Watercolours, Acrylics, or Poster Paints – Air-Drying Clay
